famous penguins!

I like penguins. So muuuuuuch. And probably, for the same, my cartoon character is a penguin. Or a group of penguins.

Have you seen the animated serie The Penguins of Madagascar? This program is a spin-off of movie Madagascar (a lion, a giraffe, a zebra and an hippo who come to Madagascar island by mistake). In this film the penguins are a minor character, but widely highlighted (or me do). This penguins are four –Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private– with military experience (they knows a lot of arms and science). At the New York zoo things often get out of control and they create and implement their plans to solve all.

Also, I like other penguins. Jajajaja. In the Mary Poppins’s movie there are four penguins waiters and dancers. Mary Poppins is a magical nanny who arrives Banks’s home to care and teach to their kids. She and Bert (other character) have many adventures with Michael and Jane (the Banks’s Kid) always with some several to learn. One day, Mary and kids go to buy fish and meet Bert drawing scenes on asphalt, leaving the park. With Mary’s magic they enter of the drawing (scene with the hill and the path) and begin to explore it. After, Bert and Mary go to restaurant, where this penguins “work” serving customers. Penguins are eternal lovers of Mary Poppins and the sing and dance for her, with the support of Berth. This part of the film is one of my favorite, because see penguins dance is soo funny. And Berth mimics the dancing penguins.

Penguins are amazing! :D regards!

free post: cineeeeeeeeeeeeeema c:

I like a lot go to cinema. I’m not demanding about films. With a juice, pop corn and a good seat I’m happy . Addition, however bad the film it’s always good to see it and criticize.

My favorite movies are those about fantasy, magic… and children’s movies jajaja. My mom always said me “you don’t have the age too see a kid’s film” but I just laugh and go to cinema to see it.

The first time I went to cinema I was four or five years old. I went with my big sister, Pamela, and some cousins. We saw “The Lost World: Jurassic Park”, by Steven Spielberg. I only remember two things from that day: I dislike dinosaurs and should not go to bathroom in the middle of film.

Since then I have been a lot of time. I saw movies like Harry Potter, The Simpsons, Night at the museum, Spiderman, Transformer, Captain America, Tangled, Ice Age, The pirates of Caribbean, Water for elephants and Legion.

In the next days I go to cinema with a friends, Marilú, Charlotte and Pía (yes! the “Pía” of this class!). The idea is see “007: Skyfall”, the new movie of James Bond. I must say I NEVER see a James Bond’s film, so I don’t know that expectations have.

My “but” about cinemas is the price of tickets. If you don’t buy tickets with time (a couple of days before) the price isn’t comfortable.
And the summer comes! Summer without class! So, I hope to go see more movies!

A couple of weekends I saw with my little sister a movie called “The Next Three Days”. We were in the home, boring, and we came watch tv. This movie had started a two or three minutes ago.

The film is starring Russell Crowe (Gladiator) and Elizabeth Banks. John (Russell) is a university teacher, married with Lara (Elizabeth) and they have a son. Lara is arrested for murdering her boss.

Although saying to be innocent she is convicted. John becomes obsessed with freeing Lara and after three years “the legal route” doesn’t work he decides talk to a man who has escaped from prison several times. This guy said John that “every prison has a key” but there are prisons more “difficult” than others, as prisons where is Lara. Ex convicted tells John that if he isn’t sure of making anything to get his wife out of jail it is better to desist from the idea. But John wants Lara with him and their son, so he creates a plan to fulfill this mission.

As a good suspense movie, the film keeps eyes on it jajaja. You are waiting for the next move of John all time, and always there is a problem jus around the corner. All the same, isn’t “essential” see this movie, I don’t page for see in a cinema xD, but if you are boring, see this film xD

Oh! This film is directed to Paul Haggis (In the valley of Elah), who won an Oscar for the movie Crash.

After to die I want....

I never thought that things I want to do after to die and maybe my list of “things to do…” is ridiculous, but this is it:

1. Don’t sleep for a night, and talk ALL NIGHT with Marilú Mansilla. She always have a good story to tell me… and an opinion jajaja she is a good person to talk any time!

2. Learn to cook. And prepare cakes. Actually, I am a mess in the kitchen and my mom is soooooooooooooooooo great. I want to be like her :D

3. I want to have a nice dog. I have one pet in all my life: Mimi, a rabbit. She died when I was six or seven years.

4. Travel. A lot! First, go Chile and then, go to England, Latin America and Croatia. And, if the money allows, be nomad.

5. Have children xD

6. Go to latin carnaval (Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, etc.). I think it would be a wonderful experience to learn about others countries, cultures, persons and take photos!

7. Be on time, without my mom or sister should wake up and get me out of bed :( When I have classes or other activities in the afternoon, usually I’m late jajajaja

8. Sleep more than ten hours in “university time”. But as I go, I see imposible xD

9. Have MY house. My own house, with plenty backyard
10. And finally, but not least important, speak English smoothly!

Bye :D

My sister Marcela

My spread family is a large family. The last night, for example, we celebrated my mom’s birthday and we were like twenty-five persons in my home. But, my family unit is just five persons: mom, dad, two sisters and me.

Today I am going to talk about my sister Marcela (Chela or Cheche). She is 16 years old and is the baby of home.  She lives in house of my parents, like me and my oldest sister jajaja.

Marcela go to technical school, and she is studying administration. Also, she practices cheerleading, and, since the end of September all weekends goes to different championships. She is a base girl (primary support of flyer) or mean base (person has the majority of the flyer’s foot), so is a strong girl, short but strong.

I like go out with my sister. Usually, we go ices cream, or see movies, walk for any place, and I try going her championship and she tries going to my folk presentation. Hardly ever we discuss, and if we do it, at the minutes we are fine again. Sometimes, we stay in home and sing absurd song togheter or invent stupid lyrics.

She is an affectionate person. Cheche loves give hugs (and tickle ¬¬).

I see to Marcela all days, in morning before come to university, and all evening/nights, when I back to university and she backs to school or coach. We share the room, so our things are mess. Also, every night it light off and we talk and laugh of our days.

Definitive we have a great relation like sister, she make me laugh a lot!

A pic of me, Cheche and my niece Martina

Bye!

Los Vilos

I am not a big fan of beach. I prefer go to country, mountains with snow or go to place near of iver/lagoon.
But, my dad is an obstinate person and he “forces” to know Chile. So, in summer of 2002 or 2003 we (parents and my sisters Pamela and Marcela) went to Coquimbo’s region. My parents rented a house in Coquimbo city, for fifteen days.
Firsts days we scoured Coquimbo and La Serena. We had go in car, so we had “liberty” go to any place. I remember Recova’s market, lighthouse of La Serena, Del Mar Avenue, the Japanese park and zoo in La Serena city. Of Coquimbo, I remember the Third Millennium Cross and La Herradura beach.
Also. We went to nearby localities, like Vicuña (place where was born and live Gabriela Mistral), Elqui Valley (with archeological sites like Cochiguaz, and vineyard to make mainly pisco) and Andacollo (a little locality where hundreds of persons go to celebrate Virgen del Rosario or Virgen Morena).
But, my favorite place was precisely a beach called Los Vilos.
I remember Los Vilos like a commune interesting, with a lot of “tourism attractive” in the beach, like fisherman/women cove or any rocky places.
We went a hot day of February, with blue light sky, without clouds, and a fierce wind. Easy, waves were ten or twenty meters of height. Also, the wind was swept all (sunshades, beach balls, towels and clothes). My little sister, Marcela was half of time running behind to ball. She was seven or eight years, her hands were tiny-tiny and could never take the ball in a good way.
Also, I lost a towel. Jajajaja. One minute I had my towel and, suddenly, this fly with the wind. My mom said me “don’t go for the towel”, so, I looked this and said bye. Jajajaja.

Besides funny moments, the beach was a beautiful place to go and walk for example.
See you next week!
Bye

Fiestas Patrias

All my friends know I love September. I was born on September and Fiestas Patrias are on September. There for, I have been to lot of fondas and celebration jajajajaja.

I like this days because I can dance cueca or play folks song and anybody tell us something nasty.

I remember Fiestas Patrias of the last year. Day 18 (Sunday) friends and I went to Patagua, Pichidegua, Libertador O’higgins region. People planned Patagua’s celebration signed up us to do thre showing about north, central and south zones of Chile.

We was all day and the “spare time” we was free to do anything. So, to lunch, we ate a very good asado. Also, we flew kites and this was sooooooo enjoyed because we was trying a lot of time to kite fly a couple of methers. Later, we dance cueca, cumbia, rancheras, salsa and a lot of “happy music”. And, obviously, we played on the stage: first after lunch, later like eight o’clock in the evening and finally ten or eleven PM.

This year I will not go to outside of Santiago, but that don’t means I don’t celebrate the Fiestas Patrias. I started to celebrate the September 1st and I hope celebrate to October xD.

This continued... xD
